Plant Characteristics

Plants grow up to 3 feet tall, producing high yields of 2–3″ pods that ripen from green to pinkish-orange before turning brilliant peach.
The pods are gnarly, twisted, and bumpy, often forming a small tail reminiscent of the Scorpion pepper.

Note: This variety is genetically unstable. Pod color and shape may vary between plants—part of the thrill of growing this rare hybrid!

With heat levels around 900,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), the Jay’s Peach Ghost Scorpion is extremely hot, though slightly milder than a traditional Ghost Pepper.
Expect an immediate, climbing burn that travels from the back of your throat up to your sinuses. Beneath the heat, you’ll notice bright, fruity flavor notes that shine in sauces and salsas.
